JOIN PHIL LIGGETT AND FRIENDS ON SUNDAY

Phil & Friends

Hundreds of cyclists are expected to attend the CTC Phil and Friends Challenge Ride on Sunday, August 31.

The CTC Phil and Friends Challenge Ride follows a simple formula: a rewarding route, stunning scenery and great camaraderie, coupled with the satisfaction of raising vital funds for CTC Charitable Trust.

The Ride is named after former CTC President and renowned cycling commentator Phil Liggett, who has joined up some of the most challenging routes in the Peak District. They don't disappoint, with beautiful scenery and demanding terrain, including the notorious climbs of Winnats Pass and Holme Moss.

Riders will have the option of two routes: a 150km and a slightly less challenging 106km. Both start adjacent to the Sheffield Festival of Cycling (also taking place on Sunday) site at Wood Lane Countryside Centre, Stannington, Sheffield, S6 5HE.

Entry to the ride costs £12.50 for CTC members and £15.00 for non-members. All participants completing the Challenge will receive certificates and a commemorative T-shirt will also be available to order.
