There will be a clash of experience verses youth at the next Revolution on November 17 with a feature Spain verses Great Britain Team Pursuit head to head.

Experienced Spanish pursuit specialists Sergei Escobar, Antonio Tauler and Miguel Alzamora will challenge the emerging stars of the British Academy who will be racing as part of the UK Sport 100% me team (pictured).

The 100% me riders were recently crowned the National Pursuit Champions at the British Track Championships. Despite a high speed crash in qualification the quartet of Jonathan Bellis, Andy Tennant, Steven Burke and Russell Hampton demolished the opposition to gain the national title.

Tennant and Burke will now be joined by Isle of Man rider Peter Kennaugh to take on the experienced Spaniards in a three man 3km challenge. Kennaugh helped the squad take the U23 European Team Pursuit title in July this year so will be a strong addition to the team.

These riders will have to find some good form though to take a victory against the likes of Escobar and Tauler. Escobar is an ex World Champion in the individual Pursuit and he and Tauler finished third and fourth respectively in this discipline at the World Track Championships earlier this year.

?The Spanish riders have plenty of experience? acknowledged Tennant. ?We?re feeling pretty good though and are back in training after a short break. The crowd is always a big help at Revolution so hopefully they will inspire us to beat the Spanish.?

Tennant will be back in action after missing all of the last Revolution season away on the Academy training camp in Italy, ?I can?t wait to get back to the Revolution, I really missed it last year. With this season being an Olympic year Revolution will provide the majority of the racing for the Academy riders so were all looking forward to it and want to make a strong impact and win a few races.?

As well as the pursuit challenge the endurance programme will also include a motor paced elimination, 1km Madison Time Trial, Scratch Race and Points Race.
