The Rapha Condor team will head to France next week for the Tour de Normandie, the team?s first outing in the UCI?s Europe Tour this year.

Rapha Condor line-up: Dan Craven, Darren Lapthorne, Simon Richardson, Kristian House, Rhys Lloyd and Tom Southam

The cancellation of the Bikeline Two-Day left 120 riders kicking their heels in North Wales at the weekend. The Rapha Condor boys made the most of it by getting into the local league event, promoted by Chester RC.

Lapthorne in first spot.

WINN GOES FULL-TIME WITH PINARELLO

Renowned tester Richard Prebble may be riding for Pinarello RT in time trials but he is no slouch in a bunch race either. The veteran finished clear of the charging bunch in the Evesham Vale road race ahead of Luke Mosely (Climb On Bikes).

A week earlier the Pinarello man took the East Surrey Hardriders in his usual discipline against the clock.

LONDON COURIER ROLLAPALUZA CHAMPIONSHIPS

Cycle couriers of the capital will test their mettle on Friday in the second annual London Courier Rollapaluza championships.

The evening sees the event return to Rollapaluza’s spritual home, the Horseshoe pub, the scene of London’s first courier roller-race and birthplace of Rollpaluza.

The event is for working couriers only but raucous spectators are certainly encouraged as every penny taken on the door will go directly to injured couriers unable to work.

Master of ceremonies for the night will be Buffalo Bill of Moving Target, backed by courier DJs.

Friday March 20

£5 to race or spectate, from 7pm at the Horseshoe Pub, 24 Clerkenwell Close, London EC1.
