LLOYD IN SWITZERLAND

Britain?s Dan Lloyd was in Switzerland recently for the Cervélo Test Team?s pre-season get-together.

It was an exhausting experience for the Australian and New Zealand riders on the team, said Lloyd, as it took them two days to travel to Switzerland. They spent three days there, before spending another two days travelling back again.

The get-together was also an opportunity for Lloyd to meet Carlos Sastre for the first time, with whom he was sharing a room. Lloyd is set to ride some major stage and one-day races in the Spring before peaking for the Giro d?Italia.

See this Thursday?s Cycling Weekly for more details.
