OLYMPIANS HELP RAISE OVER £5,000 FOR MERSEYSIDE BABY HOSPICE

ZOE?S Place Baby Hospice in Liverpool has received just over £4000 in donations thanks to the work of the Merseyside Wheelers.

This consisted of £2,585 in a special draw for must-have prizes acquired with help from the club?s 1972 Olympic bronze medallist, Willi Moore. And £2,500 was raised by club newsletter editor Des Bradburn, 70, on his Liverpool to York sponsored ride last summer.
