He may be recovering from fracturing two vertebrae at the Tour de France, but that didn't stop Steve Cummings rocking up at his local club time trial last night.

Going back to his roots, Cummings showed up to the Birkenhead North End CC club time trial, the club he rode for as a junior, on Tuesday evening, resplendent in his British champion's jersey for the five mile event.
