Eurosport will show highlights of every stage's racing at the Tour de Suisse this year

The Tour de Suisse begins on Saturday, with a 5.1km prologue around Risch-Rotkreutz, and Eurosport will be showing highlights from every stage of the race.

Portugal’s Rui Costa has taken the overall honours for the last three years, albeit taking victory last year only on the final day after Tony Martin had defended the jersey from stage one’s individual time trial.

However, Costa (Lampre-Merida) and Martin (Etixx-Quick-Step) are both at the Critérium du Dauphiné, and will miss this year’s race.

There should still be a fair bit of drama, with Martin’s team-mate Mark Cavendish on the start line and coming up against an on-form Alexander Kristoff.

Geraint Thomas is the sole British representative for Team Sky, and indeed the only other Briton in the race.

Eurosport is showing an hour’s live coverage from stage one, and highlights from that and all of the stages (including the prologue) can be found on that channel or Eurosport 2.
