The first of the Ardennes Classics, the Amstel Gold Race, is held on Sunday, April 19 and here are all the details of where to catch the action

The 50th edition of the Amstel Gold Race takes place on Sunday, with riders taking in 258km of Dutch, and some Belgian, roads.

Rolling out from Maastricht, the peloton takes in 30 classified climbs on its way to the finish line, including the fabled Cauberg four times.

Last year’s winner, Philippe Gilbert laid his winning attack on the hill and the climb also featured prominently in his World Championship Road Race win in 2012.

Gilbert is among the favourites again for 2015, having won the race three times in the previous five editions, with current world champion Michal Kwiatkowski looking to avenge last year’s disappointment.
