Mayor's Cycling 'Stupidhighway' blocked by parking bay

'STUPIDHIGHWAY',  that's what the CTC, the national cyclists' organisation, are calling  the Mayor of London's much talked about Barclays Cycling Superhighway project - two weeks before the official opening of the first two routes.

Roger Geffen, the CTC's Campaigns and Policy Manager, had returned inspired from an international cycling conference in Copenhagen this week, only to be  brought down to the earth at the sight of the latest daft British cycling facility.

Keith Bingham joined the Cycling Weekly team in the summer of 1971, and retired in 2011. During his time, he covered numerous Tours de France, Milk Races and everything in-between.
