The 2012 UCI Road World Championships take place in Limburg, Netherlands, over September 15-23, 2012.

The championships are split into three disciplines: road race, individual time trial (ITT) and team time trial (TTT). For the road race and ITT there are five categories apiece: men, women, under-23 men, junior men and junior women. The elite men's and women's TTT will pit trade teams, rather than national squads, against each other. There are 12 events in total.
