Mixed Saturday for Great Britain in Glasgow

Jason Kenny in keirin, Track World Cup, Glasgow 2012, day two

After a successful start to the Glasgow Track World Cup on Friday, Great Britain's riders suffered a more testing Saturday.

Jason Kenny missed out on a medal in the keirin as he crashed heavily in the final. However, 24 hours after winning the women's team sprint, Jess Varnish and Becky James again stood on the podium together, this time in the individual competition. Varnish claimed silver having beaten James in the semis.
