Jersey and baselayer now available, but no signs of any matching bib shorts just yet

When we first say the Canyon-SRAM women’s team kit late last year, we called it as the best new kit of 2016. The only snag (for us blokes at least) is that it was only initially available in women’s cuts and sizes.

>>> Inside Rapha: is it just branding or a British success story?

Well, thankfully Rapha, the kit’s manufacturer, has now released a men’s version of the jersey and baselayer. Both the jersey and the baselayer are available in a huge range of sizes from XS-2XL, with the former priced at £75 and the latter at £45.

If you’re after accessories to match then you can also buy matching socks, cap and snood, all daubed up in the attractive multi-coloured design that was, according to the kit’s designer Ultan Coyle, inspired by “the warning tape you see used on building sites and along the street; specifically when there are multiple layers wrapped around scaffolding poles or broken lamp posts to highlight potential dangers.”

The only things really missing from the men’s Canyon-SRAM collection now are a pair of bib shorts, an aero jersey, and the single-coloured hazard warning tape jerseys that Rapha has also made available for women.
