The bikes that Joaquim Rodriguez and Alexander Kristoff will be racing on this year have been revealed by Team Katusha and manufacturer Canyon.

Canyon has produced two road models and one TT bike for Team Katusha’s assault on the Classics and Grand Tours.

Canyon Aeroad CF SLX 9.0: we know from experience how fast this bike is

We recently tested the Canyon Aeroad CF SLX 7.0 and found it to be a comfortable yet very fast bike. The new 9.0 version that Katusha will be riding comes with the 11-speed Shimano Dura Ace rather than the slightly cheaper Shimano Ultegra.

All three models come with full Shimano Di2 groupsets, as is now the norm for much of the pro peloton. The only exception to this are the direct mount brakes on the Aeroad CF SLX 9.0 and the frame-integrated brakes on the Speedmax CF TT9.

For the time trial stages of the Grand Tours the team will line up on the Canyon Speedmax CFTT9.

Could these bikes carry Purito to his first Grand Tour victory as he plans to ride both the Tour de France and Vuelta a Espana in 2015?
