The Danish men's team will be kitted out in a stylist red, white and black kit for the Olympic road race on Saturday August 6

The Danish men’s Olympic road race kit has been revealed and there’s a strong chance that it will be the best kit on display during Saturday’s event.

Jakob Fuglsang posted a photo of himself decked out in the red, white and black kit on Instagram and Twitter.

Much better than the use of a nation’s flag or some over elaborate and hard to fathom coat of arms, the Danish kit is clear and clean.

Fuglsang will be joined by Christopher Juul Jensen and Chris Anker Sorensen. It would be a huge outside bet to think we’ll see one of those three with their hands in the air going over the finish line first but they’ll certainly look the part for the duration of the race.

The winner is expected to instead come from one of the big name favourites such as Vincenzo Nibali (Italy), Alejandro Valverde (Spain) or Chris Froome (Britain).
