Tirreno-Adriatico 2012: Cycling Weekly's coverage index

Tirreno-Adriatico 2012

Tirreno-Adriatico starts on Wednesday, March 7, and finishes on Tuesday, March 13.

The seven-day, WorldTour-level event is the first major Italian stage race of the 2012 season and is used by many riders as a warm-up for the one-day classic, Milan-San Remo on March 17, as well as being a prestigious race in its own right.

Cycling Weekly will be bringing you stage reports, interviews, results and photos from every stage of this year's Tirreno-Adriatico.

For a more in-depth look at the 2012 Tirreno-Adriatico route, a list of teams, past winners, TV guide and more take a look at our Tirreno-Adriatico Big Preview.

Nigel Wynn
Former Associate Editor

Nigel Wynn worked as associate editor on CyclingWeekly.com, he worked almost single-handedly on the Cycling Weekly website in its early days. His passion for cycling, his writing and his creativity, as well as his hard work and dedication, were the original driving force behind the website’s success. Without him, CyclingWeekly.com would certainly not exist on the size and scale that it enjoys today. Nigel sadly passed away, following a brave battle with a cancer-related illness, in 2018. He was a highly valued colleague, and more importantly, an exceptional person to work with - his presence is sorely missed.
