Astana leader breaks clear of his rival climbers to finish over a minute ahead of Alberto Contador who retains the maglia rosa

Fabio Aru (Astana) rescued a disappointing Giro d'Italia campaign with stage 19 victory on the summit finish to Cervinia, in two huge days in the mountains.

It's Astana's fourth stage victory of the 2015 Giro d'Italia after Paolo Tiralongo and Mikel Landa recorded successes earlier on in the race.
