Tour de Yorkshire: Scarborough and York confirmed as stage hosts

Yorkshire's three-day Tour de France legacy event to pay a visit to the north and east of Yorkshire

York and Scarborough are set to welcome stages of the three-day Tour de Yorkshire next May Bank Holiday after funding was confirmed by local authorities.

Scarborough Council committed approximately £135,000 to stage the race, according to the BBC, with £100,000 as a hosting fee to event organisers ASO.
