Castelli Diluvio 16 overshoe

Price as reviewed:

The 3mm neoprene may not be the most robust of fabrics – its showing signs of wear around the cleat hole after the first few rides- but it does a very good job of insulating the feet thanks to its great fit and extra tall cuff.

In truth, it’s one of the snuggest overshoes we’ve ever used, and despite not being waterproof, little moisture gets in.

No doubt the change from simple Velcro to full waterproof zip at the back helps. .

The zip cowl also helps prevent any annoying digging in or accidental opening in use. Minimise your time off the bike and these will serve you wel.

Really glad to see these reviewed cus there isn’t any way of complaining on the Castelli website. Needless to say, these were a huge disappointment – doubly so as I was expecting so much from this well respected brand. Went for a quick spin for an hour, it was raining. 30 mins in and my plates are cold and wet. After 3 months of use there are big hole on the soles where neoprene is wearing out. Big let down. Rubbish. Makes me question the validity of the gear reviews when this crap can get 4 stars !
