One of Britain's longest-running sportives, the Circuit of Kent (September 6), is offering a discount for early entry, and for groups of riders
Riders entering the Circuit of Kent sportive can do so at a discounted rate before May 31, with further discounts available for groups of four or more. Individual entry before May 31 costs £25 rather than the usual £30, or £40 on the line.
The Circuit of Kent is one of the longest-running sportives in Britain, and it now reaches its 18th edition. The event was the first in the UK to offer gold, silver and bronze finishing time standards based on age and gender.
A choice of 80 or 130-kilometres routes are offered around the ‘Garden of England’ on quiet, clearly way-marked lanes on Sunday, September 6.
Entry includes rider meal at the finish, fully-stopped feed stops, mechanical support, on-site parking and electronic timing.
The event starts and finishes at Godden Green, near Sevenoaks, and is run as a charity fund-raiser by the Rotary Club of Sevenoaks Amherst. Over the years, the event has raised well in excess of half a million pounds for its chosen charities.
