British rider confirmed to ride one-day amateur event that takes in nine tough pave sections and is now in it's second edition
Geraint Thomas has been confirmed to ride second edition of Hotchillee’s Dunkerque-Roubaix event in April 2015 – the second edition of the event organiser’s flagship one-day event.
The 165km course takes in nine sectors of pave that feature on the cobbled classic race Paris-Roubaix, including the Carrefour de l’Arbre. Riders will also be able to experience finishing on the iconic Roubaix velodrome at the end of the course (followed by use of the famous showers afterwards).
As with other Hotchillee events, which include the Alpine Challenge and London-Paris, riders will get to take in what they call the full ‘pro experience’, with rolling road closures and support vehicles, as well as a timed race section.
Entry for the event includes a dinner the night before the event with fellow amateurs and the big name pros and ex-pros, while you’ll also get accommodation included for one night as well as breakfast and lunch. on the day of the ride.
