Watch: Cobbles, crashes, and general chaos captured by on-bike cameras at Paris-Roubaix

GoPro cameras give a unique insight into a unique race

The 2017 edition of Paris-Roubaix provided all the excitement that we'd usually expect from the Hell of the North, with Greg Van Avermaet (BMC Racing) emerging victorious at the end of 257km of cut-and-thrust racing.

To capture pictures in the heart of the race, GoPro not only put cameras on the bikes of a number of riders, but also on the helmets of Mavic mechanics and race photographers, and even gave them to some fans at the side of the road.
