Alison Purser and Claire Ella break British tandem trike time trial record

Alison Purser and Claire Ella broke the national women's tandem trike record in the Yorkshire Cycling Federation 15-mile time trial in East Yorkshire on Sunday, slicing more than five minutes from the previous mark.

Purser (Tandem Trike Association North East) and Ella (Born 2 Bike) clocked 36-41 to slice 5-34 off the old record, which was set in 2007 by Purser alongside Christine Minto.
