With the skeleton brakes introduced just a few seasons ago they have survived the Campagnolo engineers redesign this time but there are still a few tweaks.
* Campagnolo has brought brake pad manufacturer in house once again and has come up with a new pad for carbon rim use. It?s said to give equal stopping distance to a conventional aluminium rim in the dry and maintain linear retardation to boot. In the wet the stopping distance is once again similar and the performance comparable to alloy rims with much less grab than alternatives.
* differential brakes are still Campagnolo?s preferred engineering solution in order to give a balanced feel to front and rear.
* Record brakes now use Ergal alloy nuts and bolt, where as Super Record obviously use titanium.
