Marcel Kittel (Argos Oil-Shimano) stayed upright to win a rain-affected Scheldeprijs this afternoon.

The German pipped Tyler Farrar (Garmin-Barracuda) and Theo Bos (Rabobank) in Schoten, while behind several riders skidded across the various sponsors' logos painted on the roads.
