British cyclo-cross national champion Nikki Harris (Telenet-Fidea) continued her strong season, placing third behind Katie Compton (Trek) and Marianne Vos (Rabobank) at the tough Namur round of the UCI cyclo-cross World Cup in Belgium on Sunday.
World Cup leader Compton caught, passed and then distanced early leader Vos to finish 40 seconds ahead. Vos and Harris then fought it out for second place on the extremely muddy course, with multi-World Champion Vos coming out on top.
