It might not be the newest trainer out there but for many of us the Flux S delivers all we need - 1,500w or max power, a maximum slope of 10% and the accuracy is decent, too. If you're looking to get set up ahead of winter, with $150 off the list price, this is an great place to start.

The Fenix 6 Pro features a 1.3" screen that's well-proportioned to take full advantage of its range of navigational and training features, such as pre-loaded topo maps, built-in sensors for 3-axis compass, gyroscope and barometric altimeter and PacePro for grade-adjusted pace guidance. Battery life is up to 10 hours in GPS mode but as much as 14 days when in smart mode.

There might be more advanced cycling computers than the  Edge 530 but if you're happy to forego a touchscreen then it's likely to offer all you need, including mapping and training features and compatibility with range of power meters. But whilst the latest iteration does pack significantly more training tech and stretch out the battery life even further, if you're happy with 24 hours of run time and not concerned about seeing your 'Stamina' numbers, there is no point in spending the extra on the latest model - especially when this one is now discounted - now with 20% off retail.

The Garmin HRM-Dual transmits via both the ANT+ protocol and Bluetooth LE, so you can use it with computers from other makes too. We think the solar option is great touch if you rain enough in the sun - in battery saver mode it can effectively allow the watch to run on and on without additional charging. Another price drop sees it now with 44% off!

Physically it's It's one of the largest Garmin bike computers with  3.5in screen and large bezel, but this mapping and other ride data very easy to read. It features Garmin's virtual coaching and is has a specific off-road mode setting. The 1030 Plus has been superseded by the <a href="https://www.cyclingweekly.com/reviews/garmin-edge-1040-solar-first-ride-review" data-link-merchant="cyclingweekly.com"" data-link-merchant="cyclingweekly.com"" data-link-merchant="Amazon UK"" target="_blank">Garmin Edge 1040, making this no longer the flagship model, meaning that there should be lots of discounts around during the Cyber Monday sale..

The Edge 530 is much like the more expensive Edge 830 but without a touchscreen. The Edge 830 has a 2.6in touchscreen, ideally sized to make use of its mapping and training functions, which include turn-by-turn navigation, weather alerts and data analysis such as VO2 max and stress score. Its battery life and storage capabilities are impressive too, with up to 20 hours life with GPS and room for up to 100 stored routes.

The Flux 2 looks very similar to the Flux S outwardly, but internally you're getting a higher spec. The maximum power is 2,000w instead of 1,500w, the maximum slope is 16% instead of 10% and the accuracy is ±2.5% compared with ±3%. This bundle deal means you also get a Garmin HRM Dual heart rate monitor and strap, two Garmin Tacx water bottle and a 6 month Tacx Premium app subscription.

While this isn't the hugest of savings, it's still over £200 - and given that the <a href="https://www.cyclingweekly.com/products/new-tacx-neo-smart-bike-plus-has-improved-usability-and-a-much-higher-price" data-link-merchant="cyclingweekly.com"" data-link-merchant="tredz.co.uk"">recently released Tacx Neo Bike Plus retails for £3,499.99 and is largely the same as the original Tacx Neo Bike Smart, this quickly makes this look like a worthwhile saving in our book.
