Amazon Prime Day 2023 started yesterday and is running until the end of today. Compared to previous Prime Days, there have been fewer reductions so far this year.  This has meant the selection we've pulled together is a bit smaller, and the hunting has been a little harder.

But we value quality over quality here, and we’ve picked out the best bike computers and smartwatch deals that there are up on Amazon and have pulled them together here.

If there hasn't been a particularly good discount on Amazon, like in the power meter category for instance, we've had a look at other retailers and pulled in the huge discounts we've found there.

Remember you’ll need an Amazon Prime Day account to access the best deals, which you can sign up to (and immediately cancel) over here.

Large reductions aren't quite the same as trickle-down tech - but the effect is the same.

Wahoo Kickr Headwind: was $299.99, now $263.00 at Amazon

Wahoo Kickr Headwind: <a href="https://target.georiot.com/Proxy.ashx?tsid=107654&GR_URL=https%3A%2F%2Famazon.com%2FWahoo-Fitness-WFBKTR7US-KICKR-Headwind%2Fdp%2FB07JHL69VK%2Fref%3Dsr_1_10%3Ftag%3Dhawk-future-20%26ascsubtag%3Dhawk-custom-tracking-20" data-link-merchant="Amazon US"">was $299.99, now $263.00 at Amazon

Back when we <a href="https://www.cyclingweekly.com/reviews/computers-gps-watches/garmin-edge-530" data-link-merchant="cyclingweekly.com"" data-link-merchant="Amazon US"">reviewed the Garmin Edge 530, we were impressed with the functionality it packs compared to many more expensive options on the market. Although it doesn't pack a touch screen, the Garmin Edge 530 is still one of the<a href="https://www.cyclingweekly.com/group-tests/cycling-gps-units-buyers-guide-181254" data-link-merchant="cyclingweekly.com"" data-link-merchant="cyclingweekly.com"" data-link-merchant="Amazon US""> best cycle computers on the market.

Sub-£300 is a pretty good for Wahoo's latest iteration of its Bolt, given that a heart rate monitor and a set of speed and cadence sensors are also included for that price. Garmin Edge 1030 Plus bike computer: was £519.99now £299.99 at Wiggle

Garmin Edge 1030 Plus bike computer: <a href="https://www.awin1.com/awclick.php?awinmid=1857&awinaffid=103504&clickref=hawk-custom-tracking&p=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.wiggle.com%2Fp%2Fgarmin-edge-1030-plus-gps-bike-computer" data-link-merchant="wiggle.com"">was £519.99, now £299.99 at Wiggle

Over in the US, Amazon is giving a whopping 50% off the Garmin Edge 1030 Plus - but not so in the UK! We've had a hunt around the web and have come up with this 42% reduction from Wiggle to try and close the gap. It's a great head unit with a large touchscreen, you don't get the fanciest analytics of the latest iteration, but for mapping and data tracking it's as good as it's always been.

Garmin Edge 530: was £259.99 now £159.99 at Amazon

Garmin Edge 530: <a href="https://target.georiot.com/Proxy.ashx?tsid=107654&GR_URL=https%3A%2F%2Famazon.co.uk%2FGarmin-Cycling-Unisex-Adult-Black%2Fdp%2FB07RZ95D6L%2Fref%3Dsr_1_2_sspa%3Ftag%3Dhawk-future-21%26ascsubtag%3Dhawk-custom-tracking-21" data-link-merchant="Amazon UK"">was £259.99 now £159.99 at Amazon

Although its now been surpassed by the Garmin Edge 540 (and associated Solar version), bringing with it better battery life and much more advanced training analysis, there's still a lot going for the Edge 530 - it packs enough juice to easily manage a 12-hour ride and the mapping is clear and easy to use. On a discount like this, it's still a go-to choice

Bryton Rider 750E bike computer: was £229.99, now £148.49 at Amazon

Bryton Rider 750E bike computer: <a href="https://target.georiot.com/Proxy.ashx?tsid=107654&GR_URL=https%3A%2F%2Famazon.co.uk%2Fdp%2FB08KHLYGGV%3Ftag%3Dhawk-future-21%26ascsubtag%3Dhawk-custom-tracking-21" data-link-merchant="Amazon UK"">was £229.99, now £148.49 at Amazon

Bryton bike computers offer excellent value, with this being a particularly key model, with its full colour mapping at such a low price point. We've found <a href="https://www.cyclingweekly.com/reviews/bike-accessories/computers-gps-watches/bryton-rider-s500-review" data-link-merchant="cyclingweekly.com"" data-link-merchant="Amazon UK"">Bryton bike computers to be a little less intuitive than some of their rivals, but you can't fault the functionality or the price.

Garmin Fēnix 7 Solar Smartwatch: was £689.99now £479.99

Garmin Fēnix 7 Solar Smartwatch: <a href="https://target.georiot.com/Proxy.ashx?tsid=107654&GR_URL=https%3A%2F%2Famazon.co.uk%2FGarmin-f%25C4%2593nix-Solar-Multisport-Silicone%2Fdp%2FB09M48SLPZ%3Ftag%3Dhawk-future-21%26ascsubtag%3Dhawk-custom-tracking-21" data-link-merchant="Amazon UK"">was £689.99, now £479.99

As one of Garmin's flagship smartwatches, the Fenix 7 packs in a host of features. It has full topographic mapping, a suite of health tracking features - including Heart Rate Variability - and can even recharge in the sun. You can check out our thoughts from our full <a href="https://www.cyclingweekly.com/reviews/garmin-fenix-7-sapphire-solar-first-look" data-link-merchant="cyclingweekly.com"" data-link-merchant="Amazon UK"">Garmin Fēnix 7 Solar Smartwatch review over here, but suffice to say that it impressed.

Garmin Forerunner 245: was £249.99, now £148.00 at Amazon

Garmin Forerunner 245: <a href="https://target.georiot.com/Proxy.ashx?tsid=107654&GR_URL=https%3A%2F%2Famazon.co.uk%2FGarmin-010-02120-10-Watch-Forerunner%2Fdp%2FB07RCJV4PT%2Fref%3Dsr_1_7%3Ftag%3Dhawk-future-21%26ascsubtag%3Dhawk-custom-tracking-21" data-link-merchant="Amazon UK"">was £249.99, now £148.00 at Amazon

There have been two new 200 series Forerunners since the 245 was first released (the 255 and 265) - and whilst those newer and shinier models boast incremental improvements such as faster connecting GPS and longer battery life, the 245 is still the reliable workhorse that it was. If you want a GPS watch which can track your rides as well as providing Advanced Running Dynamics, the 245 is as good as it ever was - and now much cheaper.

Garmin Forerunner 55: was £179.99 now £114.99 at Amazon

Garmin Forerunner 55: <a href="https://target.georiot.com/Proxy.ashx?tsid=107654&GR_URL=https%3A%2F%2Famazon.co.uk%2FGarmin-Forerunner-Running-Smartwatch-Whitestone%2Fdp%2FB0953XKD13%2Fref%3Dsr_1_3%3Fcrid%3D10GINQX2OJTRT%26keywords%3DCycling%2Belectronics%26qid%3D1688044043%26refinements%3Dp_n_deal_type%253A26901100031%252Cp_89%253ABryton%257CGarmin%257CTopeak%257CWahoo%2BFitness%26rnid%3D1632651031%26s%3Dsports%26sprefix%3Dcycling%2Belectronic%252Csports%252C238%26sr%3D1-3%26tag%3Dhawk-future-21%26ascsubtag%3Dhawk-custom-tracking-21" data-link-merchant="Amazon UK"">was £179.99 now £114.99 at Amazon

Garmin's has a raft of smartwatch ranges, but the Forerunner series typically is the best value for most people. The Forerunner 55 here is the latest iteration of the entry-level smartwatch in that model range (the Forerunner 965 is where the top of the tree currently rests). Compared to the Forerunner 45, the battery life is doubled, you get better pacing and recovery recommendations and there's menstrual tracking directly on the watch (rather than having to use the phone app).

Garmin HRM-Pro: was £119.99 now £79.99 at Amazon

Garmin HRM-Pro: <a href="https://target.georiot.com/Proxy.ashx?tsid=107654&GR_URL=https%3A%2F%2Famazon.co.uk%2FGarmin-010-13118-00-HRM-Pro-Plus%2Fdp%2FB0B3PNFK9H%2Fref%3Dsr_1_9%3Ftag%3Dhawk-future-21%26ascsubtag%3Dhawk-custom-tracking-21" data-link-merchant="Amazon UK"">was £119.99 now £79.99 at Amazon

Garmin improve the band on this updated heart rate monitor, being now more flexible and comfortable. If you do a range of cross-training, you can benefit from the HRM recording your data locally - so you can complete a swim without it being connected to a device and just sync your data afterwards.

Garmin HRM-Dual: was £59.99, now £44.99 at Amazon

Garmin HRM-Dual: <a href="https://target.georiot.com/Proxy.ashx?tsid=107654&GR_URL=https%3A%2F%2Famazon.co.uk%2FGarmin-Adult-Unisex-Premium-HRM-Dual-Bluetooth%2Fdp%2FB07N3C5WRG%2Fref%3Dsr_1_8%3Ftag%3Dhawk-future-21%26ascsubtag%3Dhawk-custom-tracking-21" data-link-merchant="Amazon UK"">was £59.99, now £44.99 at Amazon

This heart rate monitor has been a mainstay of Garmin's range for years. It doesn't have the extra functionality of being able to record data directly onto the device or go swimming - but if you always hook up your HRM to a bike computer or smartwatch and only run or ride, there's no point in paying extra for functionality you don't need.
