Vitesse electric bike reduced by 25 per cent on Amazon Prime Day

Electric bike is reduced by a quarter - you have to be a Prime member but there's a 30 day free trial

Electric bikes are becoming ever more popular, and as part of Amazon Prime Day you can save almost three ton on a Vitesse model.

The six speed e-bike is discounted between 1.45 am and 7.45 am on Tuesday July 11 - with a saving of £270.

What is Amazon Prime Day?

A celebration of the online retailer's £79 a year club, Amazon Prime Day provides offers for members between 6pm on Monday July 10 and midnight on Tuesday July 11.

You do have to be a member to benefit, but there's a 30 day free trial which you can cancel at  any time.

More about the Vitesse e-bike

This is a dutch style cruiser: it'll be more suited to flat roads with 6 gears and a weight of 22.9kg.

You'll get plenty of assistance though, with a 250w motor and 317w battery. The motor will provide assistance for 60-70km and the tyres are 35c to provide a good amount of cushioning along with the wide comfy saddle.

There are front and rear mudguards and pannier racks, and a handy USB charger so you can keep your devices topped up, too.

The bike is reduced from 1.45am until 7.45am, with the offer price at £829.99, reduced from £1099.99. See it here.

Delivery is free, too - which is always pretty handy on a weighty item.
