Here's our run down of the top tech news from the last week
A new radical TT bike
With the UCI planning to relax its rule on 3:1 aero tube shape profiles and restart testing of disc brakes in the 2017 season, we could see some pretty crazy bikes raced in World Tour races, such as, for example, the new Diamondback Andean.
Probably the most eye-catching area of the Diamondback Andean is around the bottom bracket, which has been given a huge aerofoil called the ‘Aerocore’, which Diamondback says will smooth the airflow between the front and rear wheels, while the choice to go with a SRAM 1x single ring chainset means the airflow in this area is smoothed further.
Wiggin’s Tour of Britain bike
The Tour of Britain was Bradley Wiggins’s last ever competitive outing on the road. So to celebrate Great Britain’s most successful Olympian, Wiggins rode a special custom Pinarello, complete with all his medals illustrated on the top tube.
The paint job is very patriotic and based around a Union Flag, with multiple gold touches. To see more photos, you can click here.
How to position your shifters
There are a lot of different things that you can do to improve the comfort of your bike – fitting wider tyres, switching to a more comfortable saddle, making the front end higher – but if you’re suffering from pain in your hands and wrists then it might be worth making sure that your shifters are positioned correctly.

Lumo launches new Kickstarter campaign
After successfully finding Kickstarter backing for its initial lines of jackets and bags back in 2014, Lumo is back for another crack at crowdfunding, with a new jacket, gilet, and bag, all of which will come with significantly lower price tags than the original range.
While the original Lumo Harrington jacket and Regents Parka jacket came with pretty eye-watering price tags of £208 and £333 respectively, the new Clissold Bomber jacket will be a relative bargain at £175, although Kickstarter backers will be able to buy it for £125.
Alongside this jacket, Lumo is also releasing a windproof Holloway gilet and a Brixton messenger bag, both of which will eventually come with an RRP of £150, but will be available to Kickstarter backers for £99.
