Team Sky's Giro misforunte continued on stage 16 as Vincenzo Nibali took Italy's first stage victory at this year's Giro pipping Mikel Landa to the post in a gruelling up hill sprint after a long day. It wasn't all doom and gloom for Landa though as he secured the Cima Coppi as he climbed the highest point of the year's race first.
