- Secure and easy to use ratchet
- Well ventilated
- Takes a few rides to comfortable

A well-padded tongue and heel cup lend a real luxury feel to these shoes.
The slightly square and narrow toe box takes some breaking in, but is extremely comfortable once it has and takes only a few rides. Ventilation is good, too, with plenty of large meshed areas across the forefoot.

The ratchet works well and pressure across the top of the foot is evenly spread thanks to a fairly broad top strap.
It’s also easy to operate and offers two positions so even the most skinny-ankled climber should be able to get a good fit. Sizing is pretty typical, so buying online should be straightforward.
