- Zero bulk
- Good grip
- Wide temperature range
- No snot wipe
- Cuffs too long

Fully waterproof winter gloves are not only usually massively bulky, they are more often than not too hot to use on all but the most Baltic of days.
The SealSkinz were excellent in both regards. The thin Pittard’s leather palm offers good grip and feel and adds almost zero bulk and despite the weatherproofing, we were happy to use these up in the high single figures that make up the majority of a UK winter.
Saying that, the lack of moisture or wind penetration means they work at much lower temperatures too. A snot wipe and slightly smaller cuff would make them almost perfect.
