One23 MT 10C multi-tool

A low cost multi-tool, but how well does it work?

  • Colour-coded tools

  • Nothing for the price

Looking at the cycling multi-tool market, you might consider £11 a steal. However, we approached this product with some scepticism wondering how it could be so much cheaper than the average and yet still work. All in all we were presently surprised.

Pretty much as basic as they come, the One23 MT 10C multi-tool’s party piece is the intuitive colour-coded tools.

It might look like a quirky aesthetic choice, but after a few uses you’ll be finding the required size Allen key in half the time thanks to the bright colours embedding in your memory. When you’re cold and lonely on a rainy commute home, this functional colour coding can make all the difference.

The basic nature of the product means that with not much to go wrong, there’s not much to break, so hopefully the old adage of ‘buy cheap, buy twice’ won’t haunt anyone who opts for the One23 MT 10C multi-tool.

For what it is, and at this price, it’s pretty much faultless.
