Entries on the day are available for Sunday’s Forest of Dean Classic sportive.
Having moved from its original spring date due to road works, the 10th Forest of Dean Classic sportive returns to its Monmouth town centre start on Sunday July 13 with a new sponsor – QM Sports Care. Two routes will be available on the day, the Classic 90 mile (145km) and newer 62 mile (100km) course, both of which offer a challenging ride through stunning scenery with plenty of hills.

The original 90-mile (145km) route features over 8,000 feet of climbing with 15 categorised climbs, the last of which is the fearsome 25% grind of Symonds Yat, less than 10 miles from the finish. The shorter, but no less challenging, 62-mile (100km) course features nine categorised climbs including Symonds Yat.
Both routes take in the best climbs and views of the Monmouthshire countryside as well as the Forest and are a great way of preparing for any big European sportives with plenty of climbing all day long on both courses.
QM Sports Care have donated a signed Tom Bonnen jersey, they sponsor Omega Pharma-Quickstep, to the Forest of Dean sportive so all entrants will go in to a hat with the winner getting the jersey. There will also be other prizes throughout the day for all entrants to win QM products.
