NSPCC Tour of Yorkshire

Following on from the Grand Depart of the Tour de France in Yorkshire this summer, amateur riders will be able to take to the roads that the professionals raced just weeks before in the NSPCC Tour of Yorkshire.

The second instalment of the two part event from the NSPCC Tour of England comes the Tour of Yorkshire on 19 -20 July. The event, which hopes to allow riders of all abilities to feel and ride like a pro with two days of supported riding; domestiques, lead cars, soinguers, mechanics and motorcycle outriders will guide riders through Yorkshire with optional timed climbs and racing to get the full race day experience.

The 180 mile multi stage cycle event will seed riders to groups of ability, cover parking, luggage transfers, the Yellow Jersey Dinner with guest speakers and lunches.

Organiser Richard King of Ride2Raise added, “This is a premium event with a completely unique format within the UK sportive scene – and customisable entry means riders can choose whether they race or ride, and whether they self-fund or fundraise.”
