This is the twelfth consecutive year the Dragon Ride has been running, becoming a staple event for many riders in the UK sportive calendar, and last year saw entries reach capacity within 24 hours.
Last year’s event saw the introduction of a new 300km route, which continues for a second year, alongside a choice of 42km, 152km and 224km routes, which all start from Margam Park in Port Talbot. With up to 3,437m of climbing in one day, the Dragon Ride is as challenging as ever.
2015 also brings the addition of the new ‘Dragon Tour’, a new three day event for riders which the organisers say will have a very limited capacity. A special guest speaker will also feature somewhere within the three day event.
If you’re interested in securing a place for the 2015 Wiggle Dragon Ride, which takes place one Sunday, June 7, or for more information, go to the Human Race website from Monday, September 22 to make sure you get your spot.
