Cycling Weekly tackled the legendary Muur van Geraardsbergen this week to bring you footage of the iconic climb of the Tour of Flanders.

The cobbled climb is the penultimate one in the race, and, coming after some 240km, is one of the toughest in the race.

The road first climbs up through the town of Geraardsbergen, but this isn’t technically part of the climb. It’s only when the road climbs out from the residental streets and rough cobbles start that the climb proper begins.

The final short section is the Kapelmuur.
