November is a funny time for cyclists. While some of us are only just beginning to think about starting our training for the next road season, while others are in the full throes of an intense cyclocross season, which means there are many different types of kit in demand.
That variety in different types of kit is reflected in our choices for our pick of the best products we’ve been testing this month.

For the cyclocross racers out there who are perhaps looking for something to give them the edge in the second half of the season, the Scott Addict CX10 might be an excellent choice. Boasting the lightest cyclocross frame on the market at just 890g, this is a rare example of a cross bike that could come very close to the UCI weight limit of 6.8kg with the right build.
Another piece of high-end kit is the Gore One Active jacket, a recent winner in our lightweight jacket test with its exceptional waterproofing combined with packability which means that it can easily fit into a jersey pocket when surplus to requirements.
Our other choices are the Hunt 4 Season Aero V2 wheels, light and sturdy aluminium wheels that offer excellent value at just £339 for the pair, the the clever Topeak Ninja chain tool that double up as bar ends for seamless integration.
