Pro bike: Omar Fraile's Cervélo R5 (video)

Here's the Giro d'Italia stage winning Cervélo R5 of Dimension Data's Omar Fraile

Here we have Team Dimension Data rider Omar Fraile's brand new Cervélo R5, which he raced to success on stage 11 of this year's Giro d'Italia.

The bike itself was an open secret for a number of months, first raced at the Dubai Tour under a stunning wrap, before being unveiled in earnest at the beginning of the Giro.

Fraile's drivechain is a smorgasbord of different parts and products. His derailleurs are both Shimano and electronic, although they're the older 9070 model.

His chain rings are Rotor, which also provides his power meter while he has a very bling gold chain.

Enve provide the wheels, in particular its 3.4 series models with a beautiful green highlight among the other stripes. They also bear the Qhubeka symbol, the charity partner of Team Dimension Data who provide bikes to African villages.

The wheels are shod with Continental tyres. Enve also provides the bars and stem. Fraile's bar tape has kept the good looking design of the original wrap.

A neat finishing touch are the matching green Speedplay pedals.

The R5 itself is brand new and updated model, launched by Cervélo just the other week. It now has improved handling, stiffness and comes with an integrated seat clamp for aero benefits.

Fraile is the first major adopter of Cervélo's new ride, loving its responsiveness and stiffness when climbing and its handling zip when descending.
