Each year in Team Sky take over the Vanity Hotel in Mallorca for their winter training camp, and we went behind the scenes of their 2016 gathering.

The first striking thing is that Sky take over the entire hotel, putting their branding on the doors and in the reception, welcoming riders to the camp.

Riders can drop into the camp whenever they want, knowing that both their Pinarello Dogma road bike and Bolide time trial bike will be there for them when arrive.

Chris Froome was the star rider at January’s camp, beginning his new season with some light training ahead of a year in which he hopes to defend his Tour de France title and win an Olympic gold medal.

New signing Michal Kwiatkowski also experienced riding in his new team kit for the first time, having joined from Etixx-Quick Step in the offseason.
