French rider Morgan Kneisky plies his trade mostly on British roads as a result of riding for Continental team Raleigh-GAC.
The team is active in the Tour Series every year, but Kneisky missed the opportunity to take the win at Redditch earlier this season by celebrating too early. He was pipped to the line by One’s Jon Mould and the whole episode made for an amusing series of photographs.

He found redemption with other results, though, particularly when he was first across the line at the Stafford Grand Prix in August.
For the latest outing of our ‘show us your scars’ series, now numbering 20, we dropped in on Kneisky to hear about the knocks and bumps he’s sustained during his time as a pro rider.
A hide speed crash saw him lose a lot of skin but thankfully he didn’t break any bones, but he did have trouble sitting down for a little while after.
