CW caught up with the team ahead of the seventh round of the 2015 Tour Series in Croydon, which was won by ONE Pro Cycling’s Marcin Bialoblocki, for the latest episode of the ‘Show us your scars’ series.
We spoke to Pedal Heaven’s young rider Alex Paton about some of the war wounds he’s suffered trying to win bikes races (or in this case, from the car park to the podium).
Paton, from Dover, is a former national junior cyclo-cross champion and took his first elite victory at the National Trophy cyclo-cross series in Durham in November last year.
Watch the video above to hear some of Paton’s spills he’s experienced as a bike race, while you can catch our previous SUYS episodes with the likes of Geraint Thomas, Bernard Hinault and Luke Rowe by following the link here.
