‘Tis the season to buy lots of Christmas-themed cycling products. There are plenty of great cycling gifts out there, and our Christmas gift guide gives you a plenty of options, but our tech team have picked out their personal favourites for the cyclist in your life (even if that’s you).
Veho Pebble Ministick power bank – £19.95
If you’re looking for something to keep your gadgets going while you’re out on really long rides, then this power bank is a great solution. It contains an 1800 mAh capacity with enough juice to give at least one full charge to your smartphone, and is also small enough to fit into a jersey pocket.
For cyclists, particularly owners of energy-hungry GPS devices such as the Garmin Edge 1000, the Veho Pebble Mini Stick will make sure that there’s no chance of losing the last few miles of an epic day out, potentially missing out on a KOM in the process.
Brooks Dalston Knapsack – £130
It may have some retro good looks, but it certainly isn’t a case of style over substance with this lovely Brooks bag. Inside its 20 litre capacity includes a compartment for a 15″ laptop as well as three other pockets, all of which is protected by a waterproof outer fabric.
It’s also available in a choice of six different colours, although surely this red number has to be the option for the festive season.
Our pick of the best Christmas gifts for cyclists
Pegatin stickers – from £9.99
If you want to give your bike the pro touch, then these Pegatin frame stickers are one of the easiest (and least expensive) ways that you can go about it. For just £9.99 you can get a set of ten stickers with your name and choice of flag to make sure you can always tell what bike is yours.
For a little bit more money, you can have your name written in both white and black (meaning you can use it on light colour surfaces), and for £29.99 they will be vinyl transfers with individually cut letters.
Hackney GT Alpine Bobble Hat – £28
Finally, for a truly unique Christmas present, why not try this cycling-themed bobble hat. Made from 100% merino wool it is available in a choice of two colours (red or blue) and has a one-size-fits-all design.
This seems like a great way to keep your ears warm this winter, although you might struggle to fit it underneath a helmet. But be warned, Hackney GT completely sold out last year, so it’s best to move fast if you want to make sure there’s a bobble hat under the tree this Christmas.
