National cyclists' organisation CTC has unvieiled its list of challenge rides for 2008.
The David Duffield Challenge, Ron Kitching Memorial Challenge and Phil and Friends Challenge are firmly established favourites in the British cyclo-sportive/challenge ride calendar. Each offers a route taking in stunning scenery in a picturesque part of the country.
What's unique about the events is that all proceeds go to the CTC Charitable Trust, which aims to raise the profile of cycling as a healthy and sustainable means of transport in Britain.
All rides feature family friendly or 100 and 150km routes. Price of entry is £12.50 for CTC members and £15 for non-members.
