Celebrating 130 years of cycling with our new heritage range

In 2021 Cycling Weekly will celebrate its 130th anniversary. To mark this occasion we’re releasing a range of commemorative products so our readers can own a piece of cycling history

Cycling Weekly magazine has been a part of the British cycling scene for over 100 years. Originally known as just Cycling, for a while Cycling and Mopeds and then Cycling Weekly from the mid 1980s, the publication is the oldest cycling magazine in production and the world’s only weekly cycling print magazine.

Since its inception the aim has been to bring together cycling news from across the UK’s club scene as well as cover international racing. It has always featured products (in fact, the magazine was launched due to the popularity of the Safety bicycle; see below), included articles on where to ride (often from a touring perspective) and has been bringing fitness advice to its readers since pre-war years.
