FIZIK ARIONE CX SADDLE
While Fizik could boast a large presence of Arione saddles in the ProTour peloton, sales are clearly taking a hit from other products like Specialized?s Toupe and the Selle Italia SLR.
Fizik has had to rethink the range and the result is a new carbon saddle, the Arione CX, bringing the product more in line with the competition by reducing the weight to 170g and dropping the price from £179.99 to £119.99.
Retaining the distinctive long shape and WingFlex sides, weight and costs have been saved simply by using less material more effectively.
The 8mm reinforced carbon rails should be compatible with most seatposts, but they are not round, which means that some clamp designs, such as those clamping from the sides, may not be ideal.
