Bottrill breaks Etwall course record

After the disappointment of missing out on the British Time Trial Championships last weekend through illness, Matt Bottrill ( made sure he finished his season on a high when he rode the Plan B Racing 30-mile event on Saturday.

The Leicestershire-based rider clocked 57-44 for the A30/7 course at Etwall in Derbyshire, breaking the course record and taking victory by almost three minutes over South Pennine CC's Charles Taylor.
