ITV4 and Eurosport will both be showing coverage of the 2015 Critérium du Dauphiné, with live coverage and highlights on each stage

There’s good news for cycling fans who do not receive Eurosport on their televisions as they can warm up for the Tour de France by watching the Critérium du Dauphiné on ITV4.

British riders have a strong recent history in the race, with Bradley Wiggins and Chris Froome winning three of the last four editions. And the Brits are out in force again this year, with Froome looking to challenge for the title again.

Peter Kennaugh, Luke Rowe and Ian Stannard are due to feature for Team Sky, while Orica-GreenEdge’s Yates twins, Simon and Adam, are set to line up for the Australian side.

Hour Record holder Alex Dowsett will ride for Movistar, with the first stage set to finish just hours before Wiggins attempts to break his record on the track.

With 2014 Tour de France champion Vincenzo Nibali leading Astana and Alejandro Valverde heading up Movistar the battle for the overall title is set to produce some fireworks.

As usual, Eurosport will feature coverage of the race, as will ITV4, starting with stage one on Sunday, June 7.
