LIVE: Road world champs 2012, men's time trial
Cycling Weekly will be bringing you live text coverage of the men's individual time trial from the world championships in the Netherlands today.
Alex Dowsett is the sole representative for Great Britain after Chris Froome pulled out in order to focus on Sunday's road race. Bradley Wiggins, silver meda'list from Copenhagen last year, opted not to ride after his busy season. He will, however, be riding the road race on Sunday.
Cycling Weekly columnist Michael Hutchinson rides for Ireland, getting selected just a few weeks after setting a new British competition record for 25 miles. Today's course is very different to the normal British courses, with the finish line coming over the top of the famous Cauberg climb, used in the Amstel Gold classic.
