Rob Partridge Rapha Condor Recycling

RAPHA Condor-Recycling rider Dale Appleby was taken to hospital with a suspected broken collar bone after crashing out in a five-up sprint for the line at the end of the third stage of the Girvan Three-Day in Scotland on Sunday.

He and Matt Higgins (Team Corley Cycles) appeared to touch wheels as they headed for the line, and as they both crashed out it was left to Appleby?s Rapha team-mate Rob Partridge to take the win, while Plowman Craven rival Simon Richardson took second and Matt Cronshaw (Kinesis UK) third.
